NTD Racing is a group of Military Veterans and Civil Servants that have been friends for over 30 years. We love to build things and share some of the tools and techniques we use as we as we custom build a race truck for the Baja 1000, an overlanding M1102 military surplus trailer and anything else our children think is cool. Thanks for watching.

Top video mate thanks
I only came here to learn how to install brakes on my utility trailer. I really appreciate the fact that you showed how the system works. Thanks for the informative video!
I've reviewed quite a few LED lights on Amazon over the last 9 months and one of the things that I've determined is that the sellers / manufacturers (usually from China) either blatantly lie or at least misrepresent the wattage and lumen claims of their lights. A proper lumen test rig is not cheap, so they figure that they can make exaggerated claims and no one will be able to prove them wrong. What they fail to realize is that even the very best LEDs out there these days only do 220 lumens per watt, so just measuring the current draw of the lights and calculating the wattage will allow you to calculate the best possible lumens that could be output from the lights. It doesn't *prove* that they are outputting a certain lumen value, but it can disprove wildly exaggerated claims. Look on the link that you provided shows a claim of 270 watts and 37776 lumens. That works out to be about 139.9 lumens per watt which is a reasonable value. It's not a particularly good quality of LED though since the lowest quality LEDs currently being used are about half (i.e. 110 lumens per watt) that the best quality LEDs have. The real question though is whether the lights are actually consuming the power that the seller claims. It's a simple matter to hook up a multimeter on amps mode inline with the wiring to a light to measure the current draw. You should have done that.
I built a "safari rack" for my Jeep XJ over 25 years ago and installed lights on it. The first time I tried it out, I decided that it wasn't that great of a design because if illuminated the hood and thus actually *decreased* my forward visibility. I had wondered if whether moving the lights further back so that the roof of the XJ would provide a bit of a shadow on the hood would fix that, but never got around to testing it...
How do I find your Amazon link? I couldn’t find it on your webpage. Thank you!
I just re-watched this video as I’m thinking about putting down epoxy in my new shop. Great job Dave, I’m going to follow your lead step-by-step.
@@calebprovencio482 looking forward to helping on this one. I have done two garages with this. One with the clear coat and one without. Starting to think that the durability the clear adds is worth it.
Top fabrication matey 👌
Did you need to do anything with the neutral safety switch?
Awesome! I will definitely check them out!
Thank you this video really helped
watched a more recent version of this of a youtuber who did this 3 months agon, the final tunnel entrance is fully collapsed now, however in his video there werent any gates blocking the path
@@PolarBear71169 that is good. Wish I could have run the whole distance. We are planning some trips in Colorado.
@@ntdracing I watched some others and they did the day the gate was unlocked and they just let themselves in as well so if u ever go back that’s always an option?
NTD branded KTM, now that's a Pivot use case! BTW, please put a Pivot URL in the description or a pinned comment.
@@CraigHollabaugh will do. Thanks.
I think honcho needs to be upgraded to that blue shag carpet
I wish I had this kind of knowledge and space to work on such a project. Jealous.
How much did This cost
It has to be very hard to walk away
Muchas gracias por compartir esa experiencia
Hi, Dave. Love the whole thing with the L96 on the stand and the start-up, etc. Is there a way I could get the inside dimensions of that engine stand that you had the engines first start up on? I have a 2008 LY6 6.0L that I could REALLY use that stand as I am getting close to start up on mine.I can give you my e-mail if you would rather do it that way. Thank you in advance for any info you could send my way. Andy P.
That truck doing baja?
Yes. Attempt 2 for this truck and 5 for Honcho. Baja is hard.

Hi Dave, can I install that lever on a 4R44E transmission from a 99 Ford Explorer, and where can I get the lever?
Most people don't know what they are missing ❤
These were shots from just one hike. This place is amazing.
How is this holding up? What is their warranty on the compressor?
What a great tech video man! huge thanks from the comunity...
So cool!
Nice video review. I’ve been loving these KLUTCH tools and was wondering about this tool.
I use it all the time now. Really like it.
Impressive! Thanks for the review!
Looks so good!
That is awesome looking!
Wow, that really changes the look of the truck. Looks fast sitting still 🎉🎉🎉
Holy smokes that is badass
This things its awesome for already dewalt users . I buy 2 dollar ice everyday that only last half a day in the summer. This things its awesome i just order one . Too bad it doesn't charge the batterys at the same time it connects to ac.
Looks great! Are your axles custom? Or did you swap them from another vehicle? I heard some suburbans pair nice with J10's.
Great Review and test setup! Thanks for doing that!
How does this not have a million views. 😂😂😂😂 perfect sound for this lol!
Thats a huge gain with almost no effort. I didn't know these engines reved up that high!
I think there is more to gain with adjusting the CVT. Fun project.
In the hands of master Dave, any welder can stack dimes!!! It is nice to know that the budget welders can get the job done.
Would love to meet Master Dave some day. I will remain an eager student of the craft.
